ITMS on the National stage at the UN Climate Change Conference in Dubai (COP28)

During COP 28, the ITMS project was successfully featured in two side events at the German Pavilion on Dec 1, 2023.

In order to check whether national climate protection targets are being met, it is important to monitor greenhouse gas emissions. The role of this so-called emissions verification was discussed under the motto "Trust through transparency". Furthermore  it was highlighted that Quality-assured data on atmospheric composition and the Earth’s changing climate are supporting policy-making and climate mitigation and adaptation efforts at national and global scales” Both side events took place in the German pavilion at the UN Climate Change Conference in Dubai (COP28) at the beginning of December.
