January 16, 2024

In the project "Modelling of Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Agricultural, Forest and Livestock systems of Germany - Agri-For-Live", model approaches are to be developed and tested together with the partners Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (coordination) and Forschungszentrum Jülich in order to model greenhouse gas emissions from German agriculture and forestry at a high spatial and temporal resolution. To this end, the model for agricultural emissions used for national greenhouse gas reporting (https://www.eminv-agriculture.de/), which is developed and operated at the Thünen Institute of Climate-Smart Agriculture, is to be expanded. The work is being carried out in close cooperation with the impact monitoring of the Fertiliser Ordinance, which is currently being set up.

Further information and the complete job advertisement can be found on the website of the Thünen Institute.
