ITMS with ICCARUS at the DWD in Offenbach.

From the 4th to 8th of March 2024, the ITMS project represented by partners at the DWD contributed to the exchange forum at the ICCARUS Meeting (ICON/COSMO/CLM/ART USER Seminar).

The purpose of ICCARUS was to bring together in an exchange forum developers and users of the non-hydrostatic COSMO and ICON models. These models are used in numerical weather prediction as well as for climate simulations, modeling of air quality and atmospheric transport of greenhouse gases. During the seminar, information from the ITMS  project on model development, data assimilation, inverse modeling, physics parameterization, verification, and applications was exchanged with other groups.
