UBA visits DWD - A successful year 2024 comes to a close!

Recently, the German Environment Agency (UBA) visited the division “Greenhouse Gas Emission Verification” at the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach to discuss the results of the latest ITMS inversion experiments.

The modules M, K, and V were represented at the meeting, and ITMS partners from the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry (MPI-BGC) in Jena and the DWD in Hohenpeißenberg came to Offenbach for the discussion. Details and information about the experiments were exchanged, live inversions could be observed at the workstations, and the discussion led to exciting learnings for the next round of experiments.
With this visit, a successful year for ITMS came to an end!
