ITMS at the REMISSION project workshop

On March 25, 2025, Heinrich Bovensmann presented an overview of ITMS at the workshop “Methane emissions from the sewer system” at the invitation of the REMISSION project.

The overarching aim of the REMISSION project (BMBF-funded) is to record and evaluate critical points in the sewer network with regard to methane emissions. This enables the precise determination and estimation of the extent of methane emissions from the sewer network. At the workshop, representatives of the project discussed methods and strategies for recording methane emissions from sewage treatment plants and sewer networks with participants from UBA, BAM, the University of Hanover and ITMS, among others.
