TeResE
Temporal Resolution of Emission data (TeResE) tool resolves spatial emission data into a temporal dimension. This creates a 4 dimensional spatial-temporal emission data set.
Figure 1: Schematic illustration of the temperal resolution of the spatial emissions by the Terese tool using temporal distribution parameters.
UBA’s Gridding Emission Tool for ArcGIS” (Greta) provides annual spatial distributed a-priori emission data. With the scope to provide a higher temporal resolution, the Temporal Resolution of Emission data (TeResE) tool was developed. Deploying sector-specific temporal distribution factors, TeResE is able to produce spatio-temporal a-priori emission data in a temporal resolution down to one hour, ranging from 1990 to year of submission - 2. The temporal resolution is available for the sectors Energy, Industry, Transport and Waste.
